   We are going to the Old People’s House next Sunday. We’ll meet at the school gate at 1:30. It’ll take us about 15 minutes to get there. After we arrive, we’ll help the old people tidy their rooms, such as dusting the beds, sweeping the floors, cleaning the windows and so on. We’ll also chat with them and sing for them. We’ll be really proud of being a volunteer because we can help people and make them happy.

   My mother is my role model.

She is kind and helpful. Every day she gets up very early and goes to bed quite late. She is not only busy with her work but also takes good care of our family. What’s more, when people around her have some difficulties, she’s always ready to help them or tells them the way to solve the problems.

I’m lucky to have Mum as an example. She is common, but I love her.
