Mr. Lion lived in a forest alone. He always dreamed that other animals would respect (尊重) him by following him and bowing before him.

 “How could such a powerless little mouse help me” That thought made Mr. Lion laugh so much that he decided to let Mr. Mouse go.

 A week later, Mr. Lion was walking through the forest when he fell into a hunter's net. Mr. Lion couldn't go out of it.

 Mr. Lion shouted for help. Hearing this, Mr. Mouse ran to help. Mr. Mouse quickly chewed () through the ropes to make a hole in the net. Soon, Mr. Lion moved out and was free. Mr. Lion looked down at the little mouse. “Thank you for saving my life” said Mr. Lion. “I was mistaken. Sometimes the small animals can show great energy. ”
